Avon Imari Seduction Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Review

I love visiting the Dollar Store skincare/beauty section for some rare finds. The Avon Imari Seduction Deodorant is one such find. The product comes with a seal which is important especially when you are buying deodorant and that too at a dollar store.

It's a very small pack and contains about 1.7 oz (50 ml) of product and costs $1. It's your average roll on deodorant except it's not a stick. It's of a thick watery consistency which applies as you roll the plastic ball on the top onto your skin. It's kind of like the ballpoint pen technology.

And the scent, OMG, it smells so good. It's a sweet floral, musky scent and smells good without giving me a headache. It also seriously stays all day. The only problem is that because of its watery consistency, you have to wait a while for it to dry before you put on your clothes otherwise it transfers to your shirt. It comes with a tiny booklet sticker attached to its back showing its uses, claims, ingredients, warnings, etc.

It does reduce underarm perspiration quite well. All in all, a good product and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind the watery consistency of the formula. I'm definitely repurchasing it if only I could find it again. One thing with Dollar Stores is that you never find the same product again, they're always restocking with new ones. And it was only a dollar so I would buy it just for the scent.

Overall Rating: A

15 Must Watch Chinese Youth Dramas That are Artistic Masterpieces

I stopped watching youth dramas (dramas usually set in high school/college backdrop) over a year ago since I felt like I was getting too old for these. I find most of them quite juvenile like I am watching the Disney channel. However, before I completely stopped, I tried watching more than 30 popular youth dramas and I had to drop most of them because they were just too mediocre, with bad writing, and bad acting/editing. But I also found some gems that were just too good and should not be missed by anyone, doesn't matter how old you are. These dramas have something more than just being a funny/silly high school/college drama. They have some kind of an x-factor to them that makes them quite unique in my opinion. Be it the story, the casting, the cinematography, the costumes, the locations/settings, etc. all together create a magical on-screen experience that I have not found in the other youth dramas that I have seen. Listed below are my top picks from the Chinese youth drama genre ...

Some Recent Regret Buys

In my opinion, it's not ethical blogging if we're only featuring the good and not talking about some bad products because let's face it, there are a lot of crappy products out there. And when we're not talking about them we're withholding important information and we're not being fair to our readers. In fact, it means we're being fairer to brands. It's fine if people want to earn some money through brand deals but it's really not worth it to become a sell-out. Some might say why bother writing about bad products, why not just let them be, but I want to put the word out there about bad products too because I want to help people like me save some money. Please note that when I say "bad products" it means "products that have not worked for me". However, these products might have worked very well for some others because each of us has different skin types and tolerance for products and it's totally OK. In the past few months, I t...

10 Popular Perfumes/Mists With The Same Scent DNA As Baccarat Rouge 540

Baccarat Rouge 540 was launched in 2016 by the famous perfumer Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Since then it has reached a whole new level of popularity when it comes to perfumes, especially on social media. But since it is a very expensive perfume there are a lot of people like me, who cannot justify spending so much on a perfume, and who are looking for something similar that costs less. On the other hand brands that grasp the popularity also come up with perfumes that are inspired by the OG. People refer to these as dupes or smell-a-likes. It's basically a win win situation for everyone. I am personally not crazy about the scent profile that BR540 belongs to but since it is so hyped I wanted to try it out for myself. So I went to the store several times and tested it on the paper strips, on my clothes, and on my skin. And after several tries I decided that it is not really for me. It's a little too spicy and woody for my tastes. And since it is so expensive it's also not some...
